About me

18+ years transforming complex systems into scalable solutions. Legacy modernization expert. AI integration pioneer. Building the future while respecting the past.

Lead Technical Architect across web agencies, hosting infrastructure, and enterprise systems in Estonia.

Operating through my own company Creative Team OÜ since 2012, my career spans from being the first hire at a high-availability VM hosting startup founded by Skype engineers (later acquired by Zone.ee), through CTO at OK Interactive, to my current position as Lead Technical Architect at Elkdata/Veebimajutus.ee - where I also briefly served as CTO.

At Veebimajutus.ee, I've spent the past decade helping build a company that was recently acquired by Group One.

Today I work across customer support, business, infrastructure, and development - creating shared context between teams, analyzing requests, and turning them into clear, development-ready work. The role combines technical architecture with engineering-management responsibilities: aligning priorities, challenging assumptions, unblocking teams, and identifying opportunities for automation across the organization. Colleagues have described the same pattern across three 360 cycles: calm, clear, and the person who makes the team work.

That mindset has led me to introduce automated testing where there was none and to Dockerize an entire development environment.

Security is part of the same whole-system view. I have found and fixed several critical vulnerabilities across systems, then run teamwide workshops so the same classes of flaw get recognized and closed.

Recently I've been pioneering AI integration - from making AI tools effective in legacy codebases, to building a RAG chatbot and a bolt.dev-style website builder using PHP-WASM, to achieving 3rd place at Garage48's 15-year anniversary hackathon (2025) - building AI managed gmail inbox MVP.

Through Creative Team OÜ I'm also building an agentic orchestration web platform: reasoning over client-specific data, designing tools for AI systems, and instructing agents to use those tools in real workflows. Separately, I've worked with self-hosted LLMs on private infrastructure.
